When not logged in, someone can hover over a photo in my smugmug galleries and save the full resolution photo without a watermark. HELP. I need to turn the feature described here: http://smugmug.com/help/download-photos in method one OFF ASAP!!!

How do you turn this off. I have been in the control panel, I have been in the individual gallery settings.

You need to disallow access to the originals on the gallery customization screen.

Where is it? I have a Pro account and am on the Easy Customizer and I am not seeing it. I had no idea that this was even a possibility and found it by accident. I did not know that anyone and everyone could download my images.

It has nothing to do with Easy Customizer and it has nothing to do with the type of account you have.

It's on the customize gallery screen for each gallery.

    Denise,

Thanks for your help. Under the Tools menu, I have gallery settings, view stats, set prices, More > Smugvault, remove feature photo and delete. I looked under gallery settings and don't see anything. I am not at all trying to be dumb about this, but I just don't see a "customize gallery" screen for each individual gallery?

Sorry, it's the gallery settings entry.

    Denise,

Looking under gallery settings (and have been for about an hour now since finding out that people could simply save my images) and I still don't see a way to turn it off. I see how to turn off right clicking, but not a way to turn off the "Save" folder when someone hovers over an image. Is it possible to expand and tell me exactly where that function is?

Never mind. When I turned off the right clicking, it turned off the save folder. Perhaps a rename is in order from Smugmug. I have never had trouble with people right clicking, but did not know that the two were connected.

    Thanks for your help.

Hopefully you also turned off access to your originals - as I indicated in my first response to your question.

Right click protection is not protection - it is merely a bump in the road. See ORIGINALS = a gateway to free photos, & right click protection is NOT PROTECTION.
