How to add transparent watermark

Hi,
Sorry if I am posting this in wrong discussion group. I have a smugmug account and want to add my logo as a watermark. But this watermark should be seen as "Transparent" at the center of the picture(s). I have the logo as a .psd file as well as a gif file. Any help is appreciated.
