Trouble with Slideshow / Owner Show Off

I am trying to update my blog site and was going to use the Show Off slide show. However I am having some trouble with it functioning. On the plus side it is on my development site and not the live site.
  • I have a self hosted WordPress Blog, in other words it is not running on WordPress's site
  • I have a home page in the blog and a page about photography
  • I put the slide show on the home page http://bradfordbenn.info/ and it never advanced, it just loaded an image and stopped. The filmstrip was at the bottom and if I hovered over I would get the buttons.
  • I figured that it was a problem on the page, so I recreated the slideshow and tried it on another page http://bradfordbenn.info/photography/ and that one gets stuck at times as well.
  • It does not always get stuck but it does not always play.
  • If it is stuck the filmstrip images become greyed out.

Any ideas? :scratch

Here is the code I am using:
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="400" height="400" id="ssidx"><param name="movie" value="http://www.smugmug.com/ria/ShizamSlides-2009120303.swf?AlbumID=12258268&dontpost=true&AlbumKey=HU45Q&newWindow=false&width=400&height=400&transparent=true&splash=&showLogo=false&captions=true&clickUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smugmug.com&showThumbs=true&showButtons=true&pageStyle=white&autoStart=true&showSpeed=true&VersionNos=2009120303&splashDelay=0&crossFadeSpeed=350&clickToImage=true&showStartButton=false&randomStart=false&randomize=true&mainHost=cdn.smugmug.com"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><param name="allowNetworking" value="all"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.smugmug.com/ria/ShizamSlides-2009120303.swf?AlbumID=12258268&dontpost=true&AlbumKey=HU45Q&newWindow=false&width=400&height=400&transparent=true&splash=&showLogo=false&captions=true&clickUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smugmug.com&showThumbs=true&showButtons=true&pageStyle=white&autoStart=true&showSpeed=true&VersionNos=2009120303&splashDelay=0&crossFadeSpeed=350&clickToImage=true&showStartButton=false&randomStart=false&randomize=true&mainHost=cdn.smugmug.com" width="400" height="400" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowNetworking="all" ></embed></object>

Brad, are you noticing this in a paticular browser or on a paticular operating system? I just tried it in firefox and safari a few times and didn't notice anything odd.

    Howdy-

I found the cause, and it wasn't either of us, FatCow was having server problems. But since they have gotten them fixed I have not been able to recreate it either. Apparently I had great timing of putting the code in and when they had problems.

Also in terms of testing, I had tried on XP using Firefox, Safari, IE, and Chrome and Mac Snow Leopard using Firefox and Safari. All had the same results.

It is appearing to be fixed now. Although I am still trying to figure out how their server problems would impact performance as the images would be coming from SmugMug.
