Little Red Lighthouse and Great Grey Bridge

This was a favorite children's story of mine, and I always wanted to go take pictures of the lighthouse. She sits at the base of the George Washington Bridge in New York City and is hard to get to. The closest place I could find to park was about two miles down river. So in 90 degree sun I walked in, taking lots of pictures of the bridge and lighthouse. These are mostly just of the lighthouse, but I will upload more to flickr of the bridge and other scenery in the next few days. Hope you enjoy.

    Here is the plaque with the full story of the lighthouse. I took it with my 10.5mm fisheye and adjusted it with PTLens:
