A little different from Pauls superb dandelion shot
As previously mentioned in the springtail post, I was looking for an abstract on our Bottle Brush plant and spotted this dandelion seed trapped by a few spider web threads.
yeah our bottle brush has a few flowers that are dying off but there's lots more new ones unfurling out. You can see in my image that the strands/tentacles (or whatever they would be called) are a little dry but just to the left, some new ones

I have 4 different bottlebrushes in the garden - a yellow/white one always flowers first followed by a red then a pink/mauve and last another red one. The first and last ones I grew from seeds I collected in Melbourne and Sydney
Do yours get lots of Ants walking up and down the strands? Ants seem to like ours very much. Ours is only a little infant.. barely a foot high and wide..
Cool shot Ian. Are your bottle brushes in Aus or in the US? Brian, you are lucky you were only taking seeds out of Australia. Our customs are extremely strict about bringing foreign seeds in.
