I'm not much of a bug/bee shooter, but this guy was gathering pollen among some flowers that I was working near today and I couldn't resist taking a few shots.

Lovely captures - not a bee but a bee mimicking hoverfly- a narcussus fly Meredon equestris I think.

Brian, thanks for the ID. I spent some time online last night trying to ID what it is. Thought it might be some type of small bumblebee because of it's markings.
