Antelope Canyon Upper/Lower

If you have never been, you have to go to the Antelope Slot Canyons in AZ. They are simply beautiful. This first shot is mid-day in order to get the direct rays of light into the chamber, if there is any breeze at all outside you will get sand and other particulates drifting down into the canyon which provide the luminous for these shots. Upper Antelope is much easier to move around and decend into and through but I thought that Lower Antelope may have been the most beautiful images.
Be prepared to work in tight areas and spreading out a tripod and taking a long exposure is further challenged by a stream of people coming through. One reason I preferred lower Antelope was the fact that there are simply fewer people.
One tip; because of the almost constant sand shower you should bring some sort of cover for your camera even a hotel shower cap or garbage bag will do the trick.
