What did you shoot with? I've got a few Yankees games coming up this summer and would love to bring my camera but I'm worried about them stopping me at the door if you know what I mean.

Very nice, Mike - I especially like the first shot, capturing the broken bat, not something you see very often.

Rick, I've been to Citi Field a couple of times, and just like it was at Shea, they check your bag, but let you bring in any camera equipment you want (never tried with a tripod though.) I usually go with a 40D and 100-400L lens, although I usually take a smaller bag I have, with just enough room for that combo, a short lens and extra batteries/cards. From what I've heard from a friend, though, Yankee Stadium is an entirely different story - he wasn't allowed to bring in any bag at all, just the camera around his neck, and they objected to his "big" zoom (70-200 2.8)

Ah, I was afraid of that. Was going to bring my 50D and maybe my friends 70-200. I guess that's out of the question then. Bummer...

    Thanks for the comments.

I had my Nikon D3 with a 24-70 f2.8 on the camera in a backpack. Also had my 70-200 VRII in its case at the bottom of the backpack. Brought the 2.0 tele also. The shots of the batter were taken with the 70-200 + the 2.0 tele. They were also cropped to about 30% of the photo.

    Moose,
You running the meetup shoot this weekend? Wish I could go but I will be in Montauk for the weekend. By the way I really like your work with the planes.
