Snapped a few shots at my son's baseball game the other day. Here are some shots.

1:
I know, horrible background on this one. It's my son though so I have to (shamelessly) put him in here. :)

    Rick,

Exposures are pretty good on these. On the shot of your son, you can help out the background by framing the shot much tighter and shooting wide open at longest focal length. On the other 3 shots, what was your exif (including focal length) and how much were the images cropped? They all appear a bit on the soft side - which is often the result of over-cropping.

You are the man (as usual). All of these were cropped pretty heavily.

I was limited in I was shooting with my 28-70. I really need to get a 70-200 but just don't have the funds at the moment. :(

The other shots were 70mm for the first pitching shot and 53mm for the other two. All at f2.8 and 1/2500. ISO 250
