Pretty cool panorama from Hangtown MX

Hardly any fans there yet as this was made pretty early in the AM. I was using a 70-200 on a crop sensor camera, so I couldn't fit everything into the picture. It's still pretty cool though.

That's cool and a great idea. Would two rows have worked better?

Ya. This one was shot with three rows. You might have to "dumb down" the size of the files to make them workable. This shot was originally48 full size RAW files shot from my XSi. The final file was so big that PS could not process it.

I zoomed in to 55mm when I shot it but if I had to do it again I would have shot it further out but still ended up with three rows.

Good deal. Never knew that was possible. I'll give it a try next time I get a chance. Freestone isn't setup in a way to get a good panorama of it. So, I can't try it at the next race. I'm now going to go to Red Bud. Maybe, I can try it there.

    Nice job Erbe.

Here is my first attempt as using Photomatix to make an HDR file. It was a single RAW file as opposed to bracketed photos, but at the time I wasnt thinking about doing it HDR style. I was flipping through my shots from Hangtown and stumbled across it

Looks great! Do you get a press pass at the nationals? Was looking into getting one for the Lakewood race... I see that you do local races as well, do you tag your photos with the rider numbers? I have 2000 photos I've been going through and was wishing I had an easy button for tagging the images with the rider numbers...

That's really cool Joey. Good warm colors against that crazy sky that blew in on us.
