Senior from last week....one of our senior reps, this is one of 2 images that will go on her rep card (my associate has the other).

One AB800 camera right inside of a 50" Westcott Apollo umbrella softbox. Easily our new favorite modifier.

Had the gels with us but didn't gel it. She has a very nice dark skin tone so we didn't need to.

This image is very lightly touched. Just touched the blues in the sky slightly, skin fixes, sharpen, a bit of dodge burn and out. Glad we were able to get this right in camera.

there are some bits of shadow on the bottom corners that looks like you could have angled the softbox down some more but it might have been intentional

It was.

Don't need to see the grass/box fully lit.

Also was shooting at 1/400th of a second which is a slight bit fast for the strobe...which also worked. However, we are updating the settings on the PocketWizards to allow us to sync even faster.

What are you doing with the pocket wizzards to bump up the shutter speed?

My business partner handles this so I can't speak to specifics. I know he us using the software utility and connecting to his Mac to configure custom settings.

I dont like the tilt at all. looks like she is going to slide off the box/table and the drastically crooked horizon really bothers me. Her neck also looks strained and would have had her to unlock her elbow. With that said, great lighting, great model, and overall good shot.

I think the grass is too long. You should have mowed it before taking the shot.

Kidding aside... great comp, cute model, nice light, processing is spot on.
