Sorry about the last message. I did not use the embeddable links.

Please, any C&C on my first effort at Senior photos would be appreciated.

#5 is the clear winner of this bunch, for sure. I like most of the others. However, they seem to be needing some fill flash (dark eyes) as they all, with the exception of #5, appear to be a tad bit under-exposed.

    First attempt at Senior photos
Darren, thanks for the input. I had my 580ex flash with me and tried some photos before the young lady arrived but they blew out the shots. I tried lowering the flash compensation but did not like the results. Maybe I did something wrong. Should I plan on using an external flash for shots like this or the built in flash?

Nice shots. I agree that fill flash would help. I might also suggest shooting from a little higher vantage point, so that you are above eye level for female subjects. It is generally more flattering and shows off those beautiful eyes a little better.

Don't worry. I can fix you in photoshop.

Three and five are the big winners, with eight coming in strong as well.

You could try a touch of off camera fill flash, but I think a Lastolite tri-grip reflector would work nicely in this situation. Gives you that extra bit of light without looking artificial at all.
