Finally took my 6-stop filter out for a practice run before Yellowstone this weekend. I figured I'd give it a run under the harshest lighting conditions I could find (clear skies on water, the sun not quite directly overhead but close).
Even at ISO100 at f/22 with my 6-stop filter, I could only muster a 1/4 second exposure. So I stacked my polarizer on top for roughly 2 more stops and got this 2 seconds later:
Probably not the most original picture in the world, but I kinda like it. I will go back near dusk someday for prettier light and silkier water.
