Packed for North

Nomadic Life style that really fascinates me, whole families move from warm places to cool. I met this family on our way back to Islamabad from northern areas trip. While i was having tea on the other side of road, i was looking at them packing for their journey, it was really interesting to see them packing and getting arranged.

I saw lots of nomad families going to north, they were beautifully dressed they keep walking and walking while singing songs for their children, younger ones were tied on donkeys while other had to walk along with them and keep eye on herd.

I always wonder how they dress so well and how they make money to buy necessities and they always seem so happy.

They sale animals such as goats and donkeys for income, usually women in south asia are skilled to stitch their cloths so not much expensive. I think ladies are suppose to take care of routine life stuff and men take care of larger herds of goats and sales. Ladies were 1st one to depart, may be because they take much more time to get ready ?

This is very cool. I love learning about other cultures. Reminds me that life in most other places is so different than mine here in Los Angeles.

BTW, love that the goat is riding the donkey!!!
