I've borrowed a friends Bogen tripod which has the 3265 head on it and I really like it. I'm looking at buying a new tripod and am thinking about putting a 3265 on it. Any reason you wouldn't? Pro's, con's?

Thanks
Dan

The Bogen 3265/Manfrotto 222 certainly seems fast and convenient, but I have to wonder about its use for heavy cameras and longer lenses. Does it allow portrait orientation of the camera?

To answer myself, yes, it does allow portrait orientation.
