I spent last weekend at an eventing camp in a place called Alavus, Finland. Plenty of riding, a little less photography, and a load of fun
We even got to try vaulting a little bit, which was scary at first and then surprisingly easy.
Here's Henna and Sävis getting ready to do a warm up.
Heini and Santtu jumping the practise fence.
Erika and Rio stopping a bit short
Our two groups had lessons close together enough that I didn't manage too many shots.
However, that wasn't the only thing going on. This 10-day old foal was far too cute not to get into a few photos
And finally, here's the stable cat.
Thanks for taking a look, tell me what you think

Yeah she stayed on in that one
Thanks Azzaro!
It was good to get out for the weekend, and a lot of fun. We got to do banks and water too this time which was a good step up from my first experience in eventing from last year
Cats seem to have a universal thing for warm closed spaces. Tuire put her safety vest on the table and went to put the saddle away and coming back, the cat was already perfectly comfortable in the vest.
Thanks!
Thank you Dan :ivar

The highest we tried was a 2' maybe 2.5' bench and a 1+2' bank. I do have to confess to having butterflies, but knowing the horse will, with proper approach, clear anything it's nose is pointed at kinda helps

the horse as it decided to stop short.
Very well photographed throughout. clap Enjoyed seeing the photos.
That one didn't result in a fall, you can actually see that she's caught the horse's neck.
Thank you very much for the kind words!
