First one is AMAZING, and I really dig the red sky on the last one. Something like that usually wouldn't be something I would go for, but you did it perfectly.

I have to disagree on the red sky. Unless this is for a poster, in which case cheesy and eye-catching is all you care about, it just doesn't really add much.

The las one looks like a shot out of a lax magazine, like an advertisement for Warrior or something. I think the first and the second ones are really good for a first try at sports photography. Most people usually don't get results like this on their first couple times.

    Welcome to dgrin!

Nice work on the action shots... very, very nice on the first two! What's holding the second two back? The half player along the right edge of the frame in pic #3 and the background is a little busy in shot #4. At least in my opinion.

The players in the last shot look pretty good. It might be fun to darken up the shadows on their faces - try to make them look a little more imposing. That said, the background seems really out of place. I'm sure there is a significance to the building, but it's not immediately apparent to the viewer.
