When leaving Smugmug Support, every time I get back to Support level,
the New Posts button on left is lit up? This is after reading all posts and even
clicking "Mark forum as read". I have to go back in and out one or two times to
get the light out. FF3.6.3 W7

Both forum jump at bottom and path click at top do this.

how do you "leave" the forum? If you use your browser "back" button, you're probably picking up the cached page.

I should add that if you do use the back button, what happens if you force the reload of the page? Does the indicator go out?

You must'a looked after I added this. Don't use back button.

Both forum jump at bottom and path click at top do this.

Finally got it to "unlit", went into customize forum and when back to support
level it was lit again although no new posts in it.

More than likely, this is cache related. So regardless of how you got "back", does shift+reload cause the the "new posts" icon to change?

Next time I see it lit I'll try it. Think cache or maybe cookie? related also.
    Thanks
