I liked an image I saw on Carrie's web site so I blatantly stole the processing from her, (don't tell her) :D

    Saikano,

I am not sure English is your first language so I will try and be clear.

I use the word stole as a joke and over statement. I saw an image on Carrie's website of a white horse on a white background with a dreamy touch. I liked it and had just taken a photo of a white horse so I emulated
    (tried to duplicate the look).

My joking statement of stealing it was to give credit to the person who inspired me to try this processing.

Did turn out really nice. High key and Ortinish like. Cool.
I do enjoy many images in soft values. :D

    Dogdots,

I will try and explain how I did this, unfortunately I am a visual, intuitive processer. :D

Basically I extracted / separated / selected the horse, blew out / replaced the background.

When converting from RAW I reduced clarity, and adjusted the rest of the horse to taste.

Then on a duplicate layer I applied diffuse glow., and adjusted the layer opacity to taste.

Thanks Sam -- I'll give it a try. Hopefully I'll be able to do as well a job as you did thumb.gif
