I am not sure English is your first language so I will try and be clear.
I use the word stole as a joke and over statement. I saw an image on Carrie's website of a white horse on a white background with a dreamy touch. I liked it and had just taken a photo of a white horse so I emulated
(tried to duplicate the look).
My joking statement of stealing it was to give credit to the person who inspired me to try this processing.

I do enjoy many images in soft values.
I will try and explain how I did this, unfortunately I am a visual, intuitive processer.
Basically I extracted / separated / selected the horse, blew out / replaced the background.
When converting from RAW I reduced clarity, and adjusted the rest of the horse to taste.
Then on a duplicate layer I applied diffuse glow., and adjusted the layer opacity to taste.

Thanks Sam -- I'll give it a try. Hopefully I'll be able to do as well a job as you did
