Fawns are actually very trusting unless you have an odor that sparks the Flee gene .......
then they will yell for momma and jump up and bolt..............

I heard rustling outside my window and saw this fawn with it's mother. When I went out with my camera the Mom ran off and the fawn dropped to the ground and froze. The Mom watched from a safe distance while I took a couple of photos.
Nice shot. I've got a similar one I took hanging on my wall. Just remember not to get too close when taking the pic. If you do and your scent gets on it, the mother might abandon it. I know someone that has already found that out this year.
