Hi All!
I can't decide which to choose. I went with a vast array of pp on these. The hat only arrived yesterday so I spent the whole day trying to play with baby. Trust me, a 1 year old doesn't like keeping a graduation cap on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any input on what you like would help a lot! :lust

Title: "From Diapers to Dictonaries"

Add new entry #0 (a composite). Just loved his bear but had so many shots when all 3 elements were not perfectly together (bear, tassle on hat, books)...I really love him in this, but maybe the close-up works better???

I like #2, but I'm a sucker for your babyfaces!

I was going to say #2 as well. Something about those eyes! And now you have one more for the mini. :D

I think #2 as well, but perhaps tone down the pp on the centre of his pupils just a tad - they're fairly contracted, and with the added darkening it looks like you used a ring flash or something; just a little unnatural, somehow.

I actually really like the first 1 for the humour value, but something about the books makes them look like they're floating in the grass and/or pp'd in.

    Nice work as usual!

I like #1 the best as it actually tells a story...

Thank you Brian, Kate, Diva and BeachBill!

I am really struggling with what to enter...I'm reworking #1 to see if I can get it to blend better. I do like the idea of the 'story' more as Bill said, but I also love his hands on his cheeks. I just wish he would have cooperated with my props more. Try to get a 1 year old to stand still and look pensive...yea right! Oh and by the way, stand right HERE too and look at the books, with your tassle just perfectly to the side...Ha ha. Joke was on me ;) Thanks so much for the input you kind folks!

They're all terrific. And I see you've put #2 up-- which is amazingly sweet in the hand positions. Just beautiful.
Just a quick note, he looks to be picking up a noticeable green tint in his face from somewhere, whether thru an adjustment somewhere along the line or a reflection.

Thank you Froch! I really value your opinion. I noticed the big cast when I uploaded it to smugmug also. I went back and played with the dropper on the RAW file. Turns out I had somehow selected 'shade' on the RAW wb file and it threw things off big time. I adjusted the wb and I think I'm happy now :D. Night and day difference. I woke up this a.m. thinking about the standing shot though (with books from behind)... I am useless at deciding, lol! Thank you kindly everyone.

Great set. I like your black and white conversion for #1. But I would like to see a little detail in the far background area instead of just pure black.

Thanks bendruckerphoto ;) The forest was really dark. You are right that it was a dealbreaker for the shot. :( Nearly impossible to work with him outdoors. He was running everywhere and I hardly could position him how I wanted...sigh. After several re-works on the wb I am finally satisfied. 3rd times a charm. :)
