Painting with Light, Leo Carillo Beach

I went out last night with my son and had a blast shooting long exposures and drawing with our flashlight.

The big disappointment was that we were unable to stay until the moon rose, which was really when we had intended to shoot. But parking in LA County along the beaches is not easy after 10pm. I think we'd have had to camp in order to have access that late. So our backgrounds are a bit dark, but we still had tons of fun.

Here's some of our shots.

In this one you can see an airplane turning:

Cool! Nice job esp with the last two. thumb.gif

So what's up with the beach access? Do they lock the entrances after a certain hour?

I like the last one. The flower and the little animal next to it (a rabbit?) are pretty cute.

Yah, and there's no parking after 10pm signs. If we had had more time, we would have concentrated more on the background exposure. As it was we were just having too much fun messing around in the short time we had. Next time, Santa Barbara. thumb.gif

Love them ... the bunny and flower is really cool.

I've tried doing this but I have such a hard time keeping the letters in the correct spot..in other words I get lost as to where I started or left off. Any suggestions would be helpful :D
