Disabling Original View

I understand we should disable "Original" views in the Security and Privacy section of Gallery Settings to help protect against the downloading of pictures, that the "right-click" protection is not enough.

Enabling up to "X3 Large," is that enough to do the trick?

I have to go through hundreds of galleries (one by one, I assume) to make this change. I don't know how I missed this (and I thank Denise for a posting I read somewhere that alerted me to this).

So, two things: Is "X3 Large" okay? And is there any way to make the change to all galleries at once (I doubt this, but I thought I'd ask!)

This is up to you and only you to decide. Watermarking is a very good method to protect - and then allow up to x3. But some pros only allow other sizes. We can't tell you what to do, we will happily explain the options though

I guess I'm missing something here. Are these sizes just a matter of how large a person can see the photo on the screen? It doesn't affect the size of the pictures people might want to purchase, right?

Again, I'm that online newspaper person and I just want to "right-click" protect as much as possible. Watermarking isn't an option for me.

I went back and found the thread (from 2006) that explains this further. It really bears repeating! I totally missed out on this. As for being able to do all my galleries at once, however, that is not working for me. I check "all galleries" but then all gallery setting options are not enabled.
