Hey Folks,

In Oct 2007, I purchased my camera equip:

Nikon D300 - 1800.00
Nikon 18-200mm 700.00
Nikon 12-24mm 1000.00

Is there a general formula to determine the depreciation value on camera equipment? Is there a site that would give this info? I am just trying to ballpark what this equipment would be worth today.

Thx a lot,

Tom

I would suggest looking at eBay and Keh.com and seeing what those items are currently going for.

Lenses tend to hold their value more than digital camera bodies.

depending on the condition and # of shutter click your D300 is worth from say $950-$1200
    The 18-200mm vr1 correct? About $600
    not sure about the 12-24mm
    D700, D600
    14-24 24-70 70-200mm (vr2)
    85 and 50 1.4
    45 PC and sb910 x2

Do a search on FM and you can see what people are actually paying on a fast moving buy/sale forum

Also search KEH (keh.com) and you can get an idea of used prices there too.
