Had a lot of fun this weekend, shot a TON. As usual a metric ton of garbage, with a few that I liked it.

Wish I could've gotten the composition better, but I was sitting at a cafe table and had a prime lens on the camera... it was all I could do to get a shot off before this girl ran on down the street.
2.
I know this probably doesn't quite fit here, but it was definitely an impromptu opportunity while out on the street (same cafe table as above)... and I loved this little guy, out prospecting for scraps.
3.
"Rolling Thunder" is a huge biker rally that descends on DC annually in order to raise POW/MIA awareness, and look badass while doing it.

This one is ruined by the rope that was about 5 feet from me in the frame (the subjects were probably 30 feet away). Funny I didn't notice it when I was shooting, but I would've have been able to do anything about it anyway.

Street artist in Chinatown

Memorial Weekend at Arlington National Cemetery ... the wreath is there for that purpose. JFK's flame (faintly visible) burns year round.
8.
The hundreds of little American flags are also special for Memorial Weekend... they're planted by elite members of the 3rd US Army Infantry Division, aka the Old Guard. You can read more about them here.
