Very nice indeed!! Favorites are #10-12 and #6-7. I'll be heading out that way in September for 10 days, can't wait. Are #10-12 of Lake Powell?? We have a kayak trip planned there.

Looks like you had a really great time! I love the expression on your son's face in #2- good capture ! Love #8! It's interesting to see all the boat lights and camp fires in 11. I've never seen it from that view. I think the colors are fantastic! clap.gif

#7 is a very interesting image. There is a face that is strangely familiar. The black and white works well here.

Thanks for the comments Stephanie- Yes- 10-14 are of Lake Powell. That is the Alstrom Point overlook of Gunsight Bay.

I will be very interested to see your pics from your September trip. That sounds very cool. I hope to do a houseboat trip at some point on Lake Powell.

    Thanks Eia-

Trip did not live up to my expectations as far as weather and shooting opportunities but made up for it with good company and great experiences with my son. I can and will return to improve the photo aspect. deal.gif

Thanks Doug. Yes- the kids made this trip for sure!

Proud dad on this trip. My son started a fire with only one match and without the use of paper or any lighting fuel. He has learned well. wings.gif He also got to drive the Jeep for about 3 miles on a forest road. He is still grinning from that. :D

Thank you sir. A whirlwind of a trip but you know about those kind of trips yourself.

Not pictured here but we also visited a Lava Tube Cave, the Grand Falls, and the area around Wahweap Hoodoos. mwink.gif

Jeep did fine. We had a blast on one of the narrow trails. Sand, curves, and whoops. I took a video but the camera ended up getting loose so after a couple minutes all you see is the roof. rolleyes1.gif

Wonderful post and a good time had!
I noticed in the image of lower Antelope, a rock has fallen (since I was there last) next to the arch. Things are always changing!
Also, interesting to see how much higher the water is in Lake Powell.

Thanks Marc- yes the slots have changed a little bit due to some pretty big rains the last couple years.
