After hunting most of the day yesterday in search of a powerful word...it came to me this morning. Nothing is more powerful than Adonai. Nature sings this name if you look for it! So lil one and I went on a scavanger hunt this morning. Our goal was to find natural letters with no human intervention.

Adonai....

EDIT...here is an alternative one using a few different letters.

Remember only the first letter is capitalized, it helps to trace your finger on them.

    Hi Joyce,

These are beautiful images of course, and very creative. In terms of letters:

    - I can easily recognize the "N" and the "I", which are also so nice.

    - I'm afraid I don't have enough imagination to see the 2 "A"'s and the "D"

    - Also the "O" to me is a little to much like a point.

I agree, though I could make out the 'd' once I looked at it for a bit. The others are less obvious, so if one weren't REALLY trying to find the letters I don't think letters would immediately come to mind.

I do like that these are different from what most of us are likely to find for letters though. :D

Thanks for looking Tatianna and Sherry. Yes it is very obscure lettering. And you are right if you didn't know you were looking for a word, they would seem like just a group of pictures. I was really trying to go for something different. Finding the letters in natural things vs mademade things. Very hard to do! Does the second one do any better?

I do like the second one better. I LIKE that you're going for the subtle letters (that's part of the appeal of your version!)...I just thought a couple of the letters in the first one are a little bit 'too' subtle.

I really like that first 'A' much better. The new 'o' is larger and more fitting with the sizes of the other letters. (It almost looks like a little footprint! :D) I like the new second 'a' better than your first second 'a' (that was a mouthful), but that's one might still be a little too subtle for my taste.

    Overall, I like it!

These are beautiful. I like their subtlety.

I also like the subtlety. I can't remember the rules, but could you do some thing with highlighting (the dodge tool?) in photoshop to just amp up the relevant parts of the letter just a little bit?

I can see most of the lettesr. I like the 2nd version of the "A". Both the "little a's" aren't quite working for me. The d, n, and i are all clear to me. The bark O is easier to see as an O, but I prefer the idea of the sun, especially for the word Adonai. Perhaps cropping closer to the sun? Or taking another picture with a bigger sun? A sunset wouldn't be particularly right, 'cause you'd like to have the blaring sun, not a setting one, for the word.

I like the idea and execution on both, but on both I am finding the second "a" kinda hard to see.
