The temperature dropped last night and because of it some Polar stratospheric clouds showed up. They are also known as Nacreous clouds. Pictures don't do them justice at all.
Thanks for the comments. I've been thinking of playing with some HDR, as I haven't really done any before. Of course as soon as I mention not getting much snow over night the amount of snow on the ground doubles.
Yeah it does keep getting better here. Each day is a little longer than the last. The sun sets are amazing. The sea ice changes almost daily. And now the wildlife is slowly making it's way back.

Snow drifts are one of the things that I love looking at but can be hard to capture.
Also with the snow falling it gives the glacier a somewhat somber feel.

With this warm air some fog also hit the area and stayed here until just around sunset and then it started to clear up.
The fog really was good for pulling the colors out of the glacier.
Though you can see it started to break up a little bit of the fog around sunset.

Wow is that the same stretch of water than in your previous post? If so, what a melt!
