While I was tending our rose garden this morning I thought a couple of the flowers might make nice subjects for gentle HDR nudging.
C&C Always appreciated.

Gentle nudging it is. Nice natural looking. I'd be hard pressed to tell it
from a single frame exposure. :D The sharp quality is nice too.

Very nice flower shots, Jack. Good PP work. I tried growing some roses several years back. They proved to be too high-maintenance for me. Soil control, water control and, more importantly, bug control finally did me in. I sure do love, though, how they spruce a place up.

    Take care,

    Tom

Looks like your growing some beautiful roses. Wonderful HDR work on them..couldn't tell :D

The yellow rose -- I really like how the sun is hitting the inner petals.

I would have never guessed that they were HDR!! In other words, I think you did a great job!

Thanks Tom. I hear ya about the work. I usually get up around 5AM this time of year (being retired I;m able to take a little nap later in the day if need be). I enjoy puttering in the garden for an hour or two before it heats up too much. The bugs are a problem but they give practice with my macro lens.

    Be well

Thanks Mary. Single image HDR/tonemapping allowed me quite a bit more range in the PP as opposed to straight PS without looking obviously HDR.
