sleeping seal Pup

While on a long weekend on the Oregon coast we happened by this little guy, his/her parents left it to rest on the beach while they were out finding food. They came back the next day I was told. I really wanted to get a photo of the reunion but oh well.

    So cute....nice image showing the whole body in frame. Glad to know the parents came back. I suppose there are not many predators in this particular area.

    Beautiful pose, would have like to see a bit more depth of field to bring in those cute flippers. Perhaps an inch cropped off top and bottom to help the viewer concentrate on the subject.
