What a great shot demonstrating the double layered wing. Almost looks like two birds merged together. On my monitor I see a light halo around the entire perimeter. Perhaps a hint of oversharpening. Clear blue skies and a great pose Ric, well done.

Excellent capture Ric, the eye really stand out well.
I'm not a big fan of under belly captures. Next time have the hawk fly lower so that you can get a better angle on it.
