    Manatees
    Looks like a wild Manatee, which I never got close to in Florida. A Manatee preserve emphasized how boats kill and severely wound them. Humans once again threaten an endangered species.

    At the preserve I fell down chasing a Manatee, but recovered for some great shots. One of them is attached. The Manatees loved to eat lettuce.

    it is a wild manatee we have plenty of them here in sw florida.somedays you can see up to 20 at a time. i really hope the oil stays away
