Duplicate Galleries

I'm new here, so I don't know if this has been asked before, but I did search and found nothing similar to this.
The problem is I have duplicate galleries; I uploaded using the smugmug uploader and my thinking was that there would be some kind of check to see if such a gallery already existed...apparently not.
If the smugmug uploader allows duplicates, then I will have to be more careful in the future, if not, there is a bug, but it's a smugmug uploader bug and where do I report that?
Thanks.

Having more than 1 gallery with the same name but in a different category / subcategory is not a duplicate - that would be two separate galleries that happen to have the same name. They would have a different album ID and key, and they would need to have unique nicenames.
What do you mean by a duplicate gallery?

The fact that there are descriptions on some but not all of the galleries on that screen shot leads me to believe that they are different galleries with the same name but in different categories. If that's the case, it's not a problem. If the galleries are in the same category then perhaps there is a problem.

I'm not sure what the actual issue is here. Why not just delete the duplicate galleries and be done with the issue or if they actually contain different photos, then change the name on one of them to be unique?

OK, thanks, John.
I'll delete the extraneous gallery.
Sorry about any misdirection!
