A Link Question

As I said in another post, I found that a real estate company was using one of my pictures, they had apparently copied it because I deleted it from the gallery and it remained on their site.

The question I have is if they had linked directly to the photo would moving the photo to another gallery break the link or would it somehow follow the link to the new gallery and keep displaying it on the site?

BTW, after contacting the agency, they removed my photo and said that they had someone else do their site for them and had no idea where the pictures came from.

Glad you got it resolved. Moving an image from one gallery to another does not break the link to the image (that stays the same no matter what gallery you move it to). The best way I know of to break the link is to either reupload the image and delete the original or make a 2nd copy and delete the original. The reason not to use make 2nd copy is that it currently has a long open bug that loses your EXIF data.

Thanks, it's interesting to see where the hits are coming from.

There's still a difference in the numbers from section to section in Stats. Narrowing it to one day, today, Popularity shows 382 hits, Referrers show 200, Total Views shows 382 but is showing that it is counting yesterday and today, but Popularity on shows one day totals, or so it says.
