This is an overflow pond for reclaimed water. Shot at 1:30 pm very harsh light but gives fantastic reflection. This time of year the big puffy clouds become a favorite subject of mine. Shooting wide angle also when most of the time I am shooting at 300+mm..

What do you mean by "overflow pond for reclaimed water?" I'm just curious. I love the reflection of the clouds in the water!

    Hi Lynn!

Thank you. I am fine. Have my daughter and 2 yr. old grandson staying with us (her husband is over in the "sand pit") he doesn't let me out of his sight for a minute. We spend lots of time in the pool...he stays clean and out of trouble:D
I am enjoying him lots but am getting tired....another month to go1drink.gif1drink.gif

    Thanks for asking!

This pond is connected to a water treatment plant. It is where ground water is treated and stored. Thanks I love the clouds this time of year!

Trish I love this picture, the reflections are great. Is it possible to get a similar shot without the grass in the foreground? If not, it's still a great shot. thumb.gif

"Bows and flows of angel hair,
and ice-cream castles in the air,
    and feather canyons everywhere,
I've looked at clouds that way ..."

    Joni Mitchel?

    Beautiful Trish!

Glad to know you love this view also. When the clouds present themselves as they did the day I shot this..I will go back and experiment a bit more, and shooting w/o the grass is definately possible...I just won't get as wide angle.

I was limited on time this day and just had to shoot it without too much thought.

Ahh...perfect lyric...Thank you, Nir. Judy Collins comes to mind more so than Joni Mitchell ....but naming song artists is not my strong suite.
