Was searching the term Nikon on the app store. Has anyone ever used the OnOne DSLR remote trigger for Nikon and Canon? How does it work for you? I've been wanting to tether my Nikon to my laptop for instant viewing during portraits. What pc program will work with the Iphone app?

I have used it!!! It is great!! All you have to do is go to the DSLR remotes website and download the server program for your computer. Its free with the app if I remember right. Then you just use the wifi on your phone to connect to your computer either through your home network, or an ad hoc network that you setup specifically for this. Then you just connect you camera to the laptop via USB, and you have complete control over the camera including reviewing the images all on the iPhone!! Its amazing. Then you can use lightroom to monitor the folder you setup to shoot into and wala. Instant review right with lightroom. Let me know if this makes sense or you have any questions

If you just want to tether, you don't need to use the OnOne Remote software. If you're on a Mac, there's a great tethering companion app for Lightroom from a 3rd party dev. I'm sure there's something similar on Windows.

You know this is awesome. I was talking to some people and found in order to teather my Nikon to the laptop I need a $100.00 capture program that Nikon sells. Looks like this app will allow me to use my Green Screen program as a monitor program. I think I'm going to test out the 1.99 version before I spend 20.00 on the full version. This might be fun

Or you can just download the Lightroom 3 Beta - it supports native tethering for most newer Canon/Nikon dSLR.
