it was easier finding them in the trees than it was working in Photoshop. I need to read something to find out how to put them together and size them ????

thats great I love it!! I had an idea like that but mine involved lighting the word on fire somehow and taking the shot or somehow just getting the word to show up in the embers...but no one would help me and Im afraid of fire hahahahaha.

Yes, the freeware software that Sean posted in the entry thread is a neat little program. It is sooooo easy to combine the photos with that program. I have ps & also paint shop pro, but this little freebie is much easier to combine. I'm probably going to load it on my daughter's computer since she's developing an interest in photography (& is already better than me, the little brat...lol). I think she'll like playing with it, too.

I love your shots here, but I was just thinking they may be considered existing letters, and therefore not within guidelines for this theme. Just my interpretation. You may want to ask Sean.
    I hope its within guidelines!

    Hi Sean

it was ask in my thread if my bark letters would be within the rules they are NOT carved. They all were found in about 4 hrs a lot harder than making letters ?? anyway please let me know what you think
    thanks Jeff

Since they are not carved and found in the natural forms of the bark they are perfectly within the Stipulations.
    Thanks for asking.

(I have posted this here as well because then everyone will know) :D

So here is the J without me helping it a bit and one more the last j was way up the trunk so I do not think it was cut in and the tree graffiti was way different
