I just returned to the states after a one month journey in China with my new wife :lust..
We spent a few days in Anhui Province, at Huangshan, Yellow mountain..
( supposedly the inspiration for Pandora in Avatar)
The whole time we we there the mountains were covered in clouds/mist...
What can be done to a photos like these? any Photoshop tips?

Posting to tell me my photos suck is not going to drive to me to an unspeakable and gory end... saying adjust a certain filter in ps might be nice
Very common. Mainly because there is a very high ratio of guests to members that browse the site. That said, I think the right place to ask this question is in the Technique forum. I've been able to recover misty* shots using Aperture but would need to go back and look at what I did. Btw, glad you enjoyed your visit to China. It's an amazing place and a photographer's goldmine.
*I think some people might challenge my use of the term "misty" for what hangs over some China cities.
BTW, China is mind boggling... far too amazing to express in a few sentences..
And yes the "mist" over the cities is disturbing considering all those that live in said cities..
other locales are breathtakingly beautiful...

I copied your image and opened it in PS CS3
Auto color took care of the blue
I bumped up the contrast +50
Used curves to adjust (lighten) the green foliage a bit
Unsharp mask: amt: 250% Redius: .7 Threshold: 0
It could have been a bit better if worked from a RAW image rather than a JPEG copy.
I think this is a bit better but, it is up to you...
