A trip to the gardens on a windy day.
Anyone that has ever tried to photograph a flower on a windy day knows it can be near impossible to stop the motion. You might decide to forgo the tripod and opt out for the faster compose hand held option. That's what was going through my mind as I was packing my tripod. It's only natural to think "why bother the tripod it will slow me down.I will miss when the flower slows down from shaking in the wind" My options, almost all my photos blurry with no tripod or increase my odds with a tripod. But I know that any photo taken with a tripod will be sharper than any hand held photo ever could be.
So I used the tripod with MLU, 2second timer and remote wireless trigger. The main lens used was cannon 70-200mm f4L lens with a 12mm extension tube. Also set the ISo at 320 for most photos, darn wind. So this is what I got.
Oh Did I mention that I had modest overcast sky. cry

This one was inside on an iris contest table. The tripod made this possible.
