Howling at the Moon

Very difficult for me to shoot the moon, had to fight off many strange urges :lol4 not to mention how hard it is to manipulate buttons/dials when fingernails become claws :rofl

Here's my try. think I can do better detail wise with a few more adjustments maybe try again tonight :dunno

    Interesting though the angle difference, don't you think ??
    I'm gonna try again tonight :
    camera on pillow
    self timer
    mirror lock up

    see if I can get a bit more detail
    Your's does seem to have more contrast thumb.gif

    I was actually going to try to shoot a whole month & put them in an album.

    Mate what made you use ISO 400 ?

    Ben i have found that most of the time (not all the time)...the closer i follow 'sunny 16 rule' the better the contrast.

    Just messing with the settings, shot some at 200 and then went up. No method to my madness just wanted to see the difference. did some more tonight. Probably post them tomorrow.
