Empty Redirect

I've just had a look at google stats and its saying I have 3675 crawl errors in the name of Empty Redirects. This is an example of one:

Does anyone know if this affects search ranking? Can't be good surely!?

They do not affect SEO and they'll fall off eventually is what we're told.
