Jones Beach Air Show - A Different Perspective

OK, so it's the Jones Beach Air Show, you are expecting photos from the beach, right? Well, not this time - I went to Friday practice, and with clouds and haze, I did OK, but nothing spectacular. I did spend both official show days at Republic Airport, where all the show participants staged from. My friends at the American Airpower Museum let me hang out in the old airport control tower, which is now part of the museum, most of these are from the tower.
1 - P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang, and F4U Corsair departing for the beach.
2 - Chuck Aaron in the Red Bull helicopter buzzes by after his performance (he does aerobatics, including barrel rolls, in the helicopter)
3 - Glamorous Gal flashes by the tower.
4 - Dusty gives us a close up look at his A-10
5 - Even the Canadians got in on the action!
6 - The Airpower Museum's Corsair flies on through.
7 - P-40 with P-51 flying his wing.
8 - But the winner of the limbo contest was the second Canadian F-18, as he headed home to the Great White North
9 - But I wasn't in the tower all day - I did a little shooting at ground level...
10 - OK, so I lied, how about one from the beach?
Here is the full gallery - I'm still finishing up editing, then maybe I can start on the shots from the NASCAR Pocono race this past weekend...

there was treated you nice enough. Nice set of images.
I really like #6 how you can see the pilot sitting there and #8 with the shadow on the runway.
