Baseball: What Is Needed?
After looking at these photos, what would you do to make them better if you were me? I want to keep improving always.
All photos were taken with a Canon 50d, Canon 70-200 2,8 non-IS, AV mode, ISO 160.
Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

Looking at your galleries, I see a lot of good shots, some not so good. I believe less is more. A quick glance, I noticed several duplicate shots of the same player. I would cull the weaker shots keeping only the best of each player. Yes there is the occasional parent who buys EVERY photo of their child, but many more who only want a couple and get turned off by weeding through hundreds of photos to get to their good ones.
It is not always feasible, but when I shoot a league, I group the player's photos together in the gallery sorted either by name, number or position.
EOS 7D, Zeiss 50mm f/1.4, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L, EF 135mm f/2L, EF 200mm f/2.8L II, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, EF 1.4 Ext II, 430EX, ST-E2, Tamrac Velocity 10X & Expeditioner 7 Bags.
I agree. The biggest drawback to most sports pics galleries I see is too many pictures. It seems most shooters just upload an entire day's shots without culling or editing. Makes viewing the pics tedious and less interesting, not to mention overly time-consuming. When shooting for kids and their parents or relatives, you don't need to delete every shot that wouldn't make SI, but avoid duds, most faceless pics, and essentially duplicative shots. My galleries are typically 100-150 pics, which seems to generate good viewership. Not saying that's the magic number range, but probably somewhere between 50 and 200.
I like all three of your shots posted here, btw.
