Ring of Combat Amateur Championships 2010

Shot some MMA the other night. Two of my fighters (I also represent fighters) fought on this card. Got my pro fighting on the Ring of Combat pro card this Friday and will be the photog there as well.

Shooting Ring of Combat pro fights tomorrow night in Atlantic City. Should get some nice photos there.

From your first post:

#2 - that can't be legal!

#6 - shooting through the cage has actually created a kind of cool effect

Second post:

#12-14 - nice action, they look fairly sharp, just no faces! Just something you might think about the next time you're shooting.

#15 - very cool. The ref's eyes, the cage and even the out of focus bit of cage you're shooting through all help to lead the viewer's attention to the fighters. Great job!

#16 - nice shot... shame about the white vertical beam in the background though

#18-21 - Great sequence!

Third post:

Very nice work on all of these. Not really much to say.

Fourth post:

#1 - Nice timing, got both fighters with faces turned toward you, but the focus is a little soft.

#3 - Like this one a lot! Might be my favorite of the whole bunch.
#5 - Again, a good shot that would be even better if it were a bit sharper.


Keep up the good work and let us see more as you shoot 'em!

I agree with you on all of your comments. All of the photos I posted aren't what I'd call incredible for sure. Got some good stuff though.

Just shot Ring of Combat (pro) on Friday. Working on the photos now. Will post them at some point during the week.
