Engagement shoot question

I'm doing an engagement shoot for my wife's work friend.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
We're charging 100 for the shoot + prints.<o:p></o:p>
Question is: should I create packages to avoid the inevitable "buy 4x6's and scan" type client that this is guaranteed to be?
For pricing I was going to base it on a 100% markup being as she is my wife's "friend".

About two years ago I started giving the DVD of all edited images to all my wedding and esession clients to avoid my work being scanned and reprinted. I charge more then $100 for an esession, to make it worth it. I find that people want own their photos now a days.

But, you have to do what you feel comfortable with.

So about how much do you charge for 100 edited photos on DVD?

I charge $250 for an esession. I end up with about 75 or so shots after editing. I spend about 2 hours with them. Most of the time I end up shooting their wedding too, and also make a guest book with the esession photos for additional $.
