I'm really liking your series! I'm curious, how much editing are you doing on these?
And go smugmug for your hosting! you can replace photos on there.

Hey thanks for that smugmug tip!
Hmmm... My Photoshop skillz isn't very good. I usually just manipulate the color individually and add vignette in ACR. Auto Tone, Auto Levels, Auto Contrast, Auto Curves.. Clean the photo up by cloning out small stuff here and there. Sharpen with High Pass Filter. That's it.

wow, that's less than I was thinking for some reason... Nice Job!
I don't care how you pp'd your images
It really doesn't matter if you had the exposure, spot on out the camera or PS'd what matters is the end results and these photos are really good.
You are an artist and I like your style, thank you for sharing.
BTW your titles are brilliant. One of my favorite artist Norman Rockwell titled his paintings. I do think there is a place for open interpretation but there is also a place for directed interpretation.
You have a terrific eye and style!
I remember looking through this thread before, but it was awhile ago, so seeing it again and the new images you've added was very inspiring!
Thanks for keeping up with it, look forward to more!

Couldn't agree more. What matters is the final outcome. Doesn't matter what went on under the table.

Thank you so much. Glad to have inspired you.
I've been swamped with stuff and now trying to be back in the game. Got rusty in the process...
Very sorry guys for the late reply. Hope you're all doing great.

I somehow missed this post originally but I'm glad I found it. This is what I think of when I think street photography. beautiful images of street culture that bring the viewer to the place. well done.

Sapin-sapin is a layered glutinous rice and coconut dessert in Philippine cuisine. It is made from rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, water, and coloring with coconut flakes sprinkled on top.
Sapin-sapin means "layers" and the dessert is recognizable for its layers, each colored separately.

I agree with the other folks that you have a strong talent for lighting and color. It was a pleasure to see your work and you have given me some new ideas.
