My husband and I spent a week in Moab, UT for the annual Gone Moab event. This event is specifically for Nissans and lasts for a whole week. There were close to 70 Nissans that attended. Here are some pictures from the trails. I am going to split this post into three replies, one for each day of pictures I got.

We also took lots of videos through the week on the trails so I am including a link to our youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/neh0209

You got some cool shots there. A couple of guys from the club I'm in went out there for the Easter Jeep Safari this year...I couldn't make it..:cry

It's got to be every wheeler's dream to get to Moab....I know it's mine.

Thanks! Yea we didn't think we'd ever get to attend this event because my husband's work. During the summer is the busy time for them but he was able to get the week off and we jumped on it.

^haha, thanks! I would definitely love to go back there. I watched some of your vids as well - a whole different type of terrain back East. I miss it sometimes (from NC originally) but I highly recommend coming out west if you get the chance. It's a whole different world.

    Holy cow! :wow

Awesome thread, Natalie! Great shots! There's some real carnage there. Call me a chicken, but I wouldn't do most of those runs. :nah rolleyes1.gif

Looks like you guys had a blast. thumb.gif

Haha thanks Joel! I was really pleased with some of my shots from this trip but the scenery made it pretty easy to get some good shots. We did suffer some carnage to the rear door..laid it on the same one twice - wasn't the best line but Aaron pounded it out and we can still roll the window down and open it so it will probably stay that way for awhile lol. Only other damage came from the last trail on the last day (Hells Revenge). I didn't take a single picture that day because 1) the wind was gusting at 60-70 mph and 2) that trail terrified me.

As soon as we got back we got some 17" rims and mounted them on some brand new 37" tires. It just keeps growing up.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment :D

Thanks Aaron, you're welcome anytime. I'll let you know the next decent sized run we get planned :) Our buddy Tim usually has an open seat as his wife hates the stuff we do now haha. I'd offer you a seat in ours but we have no backseat and I usually claim the one extra one we have haha.

Keep that up and you will need a step ladder to get in the cab Laughing.gif

Yea we are heading in the direction of towing it if it's going to be a long trip. We are wanting to hit Rubicon as our next big outing and we are thinking that it will require a trailer to go that far.

Haha, yea it's definitely a different world. All my guy friends growing up were into fast cars and then I came out here to the exact opposite.

Yea if it gets much taller I am going to have a very hard time getting into it. It's not easy right now for sure - I basically pull myself in using the oh crap handle:D

Yea what's considered a hard rated trail back east doesn't even compare to what's considered hard out here. The wheeling I did do in NC seemed pointless after I saw the trails out here for the first time. It's wheeler heaven out here if you ask me :)

Thanks! Yea it was a Nissan event but we had some black sheep in the bunch. Jeep guy is a buddy of one of the trail leaders and he did just fine w/out a front locker. People are often surprised to see Nissans out on the trail but we love to show people what they can do :D
