Great composition. The road leads into the picture where a nice reward (yellow hill) awaits. Very nice color contrast (yellow/blue). I would crop away the top (featureless) portion of the sky. This will create a more dynamic split between sky and earth and improve the color balance.

I love this picture, I love the separation of colors but yet they tie together.

    Thank you for sharing that.

If you happen to agunther's suggested cropping, please post it as well. I like the original picture but I'm also a fan of cropping out sky when it doesn't add value - especially if that helps the landscape shot feel more like a panoramic shot.

I love the blue in the sky..especially in the clouds rolling in.

The fence and the road does lead ones eye to the yellow in the background.

Very nice shot, Walter. I like the colors and the comp, esp. since I am a huge fan of country road shots! As for the suggested crop, IMO it could use a tiny bit of blue off the top, but I think cutting too much sky out would lessen the impact of the image. I like the way the calm blue sky turns into the stormy clouds as my eye wanders through the image. The image becomes calm again with the warm yellow, and the road takes me to a destination that may be calm or stormy . . . and I won't know until I get there!

I like this one a lot!
