Although, the current trend is to blow highlights, convert things to desaturated colors and jack up contrast, I feel that this treatment doesn't work for these particular shots. The first (to my eye anyway) looks like your 50" softbox was set with too much light power and the conversion is a cover up...the balance of light is by 10 stops. I do however love the settings, the dress and oh, the possiblilities!
I'd like to see one of these with increased color..bold, beautiful....Knock your socks off processing for the heck of it. Finding the right blend of processing techniques to match the photo can be tricky at times. Keep mom and grandma in mind on some of those
