We took a family hike to the Cliff Dwellings in Los Alamos/White Rock area. I have been there three times, but never with a good camera and this was the first time I saw the petroglyph's. Here is one of the shots that I liked.

    I think it really needs some heavy post-processing to bring out the detail. And probably a crop as well. In the very least, jack up the contrast.

    I thought about a crop as well, but it's not very sharp when it gets cropped in. So I thought some vignetting would do just as well. I'll make some tweaks and post again.

    Thank for the tip on the contrast.. and I am SO glad I didn't crop it. When I hit up that contrast I saw even more of the petroglyph that was hiding in the rock face!

    Wow, So just looking at this, I realized that the blue is not part of the rock (lichen) but it's actually paint. At the top of the spiral there is a figure cloud and the blue are rain drops falling into the pool in the lower left hand corner. There is so much happening in this I hadn't noticed before.
